Plano Youth Rugby was established back in 2000, originally catering to boys in 11th and 12th grade in order to compete in the Texas High School Rugby League.  With the success of the program, we gradually expanded and are now the largest Youth Rugby Club in North Texas.  We have teams catering to all ages…from Kindergarten up to 12th grade in both boys and girls groups.  Our mission is to provide instruction and guidance to new kids, as well as returning players around the great sport of rugby.  We partner with Plano Sports Authority (PSA) who provide us with the facilities we need in the City of Plano.  The concepts of sportsmanship, camaraderie, teamwork and fitness are core to the sport as well as our program, and we encourage new players with no experience to come out and give rugby a try!

Preseason Sessions are Back!

Free preseason "Open" sessions are every Saturday, starting on Oct. 20th running through the end of January 2019.  These are open to all ages, boys and girls.  These sessions will take place at Liberty Park from 10-11:30am (1200 Mill Valley Dr, Plano, TX 75075 - behind Vines High School).  As our actual season begins at the beginning of February, these sessions are a great way to get introduced to the game and meet other players/parents.  All you need to play are gym shorts, Tshirts, tennis shoes and a mouth guard.

Liability waiver is required to be filled out prior to play and can be found here:  http://planorugby.com/s/Plano_Rugby_Club_Release_Of_Liability.pdf
