2019 JV/Varsity 20th Anniversary Tour in Philadelphia!

In celebration of Plano Rugby Club's 20th Anniversary, we are excited to offer any JV/Varsity BOYS AND GIRLS player the opportunity to tour up to Philadelphia, PA during Spring Break 2019! Specifically this will be from Saturday, March 9th-16th 2019.

Coach Laprocido has put together a great schedule that not only includes rugby, but sightseeing opportunities as well.

The Boys Varsity/JV will be playing Doylestown, St. Joe’s Prep and Media HS Rugby Clubs. Doylestown is the reigning PA State Champions and St. Joe’s is the runner up. Former Plano coach Mark Ernst (and son William) are now associated with the Media youth program.

The Girls Varsity will be playing Doylestown, Media and another local HS team yet to be named when the boys play St. Joe’s (St. Joe’s is an all-male, single team school).

Philadelphia is rich in the history. We will be enriching the teams’ experience by visiting several historic sites including Independence Hall, the Constitution Center and Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross’ and Ben Franklin’s homes, and multiple museums including the Art Museum, Museum of Natural Science, the Mutter Museum and the East Penn Penitentiary.

We also plan to attend an NBA game with the Philadelphia 76ers vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers and take a team picture on the Art Museum steps or by the Rocky statue.

For the full schedule including pricing, please contact Coach Laprocido at mlaprocido@msn.com or 214 608 7668. We will need a $100 non refundable deposit to secure your spot so don't delay!
